Simply put . . . everything. What I’m about to tell you is something the powers that be don’t want you to know. I’m not new to this subject as I’ve been studying the mind and everything having to do with the subject for years. Even experimenting with this in my own life has enabled me to realize that what I’m saying is true. Matter of fact it’s true regardless of your belief in it. By now we’ve all heard of the “Law Of Attraction” and all the self-help shit that’s out there but what I’m talking about goes beyond that. A lot of what’s being sold to help the common person feel empowered again is only partially the deal. This is exact science (more…)

This is my newest piece I titled “Return To Innocence” . . . I’ve had this piece in my head for about 2 years but haven’t painted it until now and as I’ve realized there was a reason for the timing. I can’t tell you how many rough sketches I have of this concept in those two years. I guess I was saving it for when I felt compelled to paint it. First let me tell you what this piece stands for, the themes involved, how it relates to me and my life, and why I decided to go with a Mayan warrior. This piece represents a man’s struggle to find himself, his spirituality, his innocence even after he’s been through the jungle of life with his hands still soaked in blood. A man . . . a real man goes through a lot of changes in journey to find his higher self. Beyond the ego, beyond the warrior spirit (more…)

Now I don’t know how spiritual you may be but please don’t think this is necessarily a spiritual post . . . it’s just what’s been going on in my mind which has translated into life. I hope it helps you overall if not at least help you realize some things concerning your own life. Let me start off by saying that the mind is a muscle . . . and like muscles it must be worked. And that’s whatEVER you set your mind to do. If you’re anything like me you have periods (usually like 2-5 days) where you’re extremely focused on something, success, love, accomplishing some abstract mini goal, or whatever. Then when you break these tasks into smaller goals you get lost in the details. It’s like of like when I’m drawing, I start off sketching the general shapes and I’m so pleased because I love the progress, it’s a beautiful and simple stage. But then as I start zeroing in on certain details of the drawing I take a broader view of if and realize the details in the section I was just working on doesn’t look quite right.

It frustrates me so either I erase and get back to the overall concept and rework or I (more…)

Isn’t it strange that when you really feel a bond with somebody . . . and I mean a REALLY strong bond, you can almost detect when you’re going to get contacted that person? The answer is no it isn’t strange . . . not at all. And when I say “missing” someone you can be missing them for ANY period of time, a day, a month, years, or even an hour. Sometimes you may miss somebody more intensely after an hour that somebody else you miss for a year and vice versa. I think the potency of missing somebody lies in the impact they’ve made on your subconscious mind and how bad you wanted a person like that in your life before you met them. For instance, I’m a strong believer in the law of attraction . . . well actually not a believer, more of a realizer because it acts independent of your belief in it or not. When you think of what kind of person you want or need in your life and feel it already the universe rearranges itself like a puzzle to bring that person to you.

The flip side is that person has obviously brought you into their life just the same way. So when you and that person meet there is an instant bond made that’s almost spiritual in nature in that its your subconscious minds in unison with the Infinite that has brought you together. I’ve always noticed this through life especially (more…)
